Welcome to my writing home, Nicola Ann Words. Excited to have my website live and to post my first blog.

I’m Nicola, a South African native who has intermittently lived in London since 2000. A writer, photographer, artist and adventurer. I’ve self-published my debut novel, Girl in the Pickle Jar, and a non-fiction book, NO BULL Help Yourself. I will publish Girl in the Pickle Jar II next.

In December 2023, I finished co-leading an online writing course at American University. “Life Stories Unleashed: Self-Publishing 101” and ran for twelve weeks. We explored personal ingenuity and AI tools to enhance our writing. The course was a hit, and we are already planning a repeat for October 2024.

Thanks to both of you for helping me with my memoirs and the other means such as ChatGPT to improve my writing. It was lively and interactive. Nicola, I have already read the FIRST page of ‘Pickle.’ You gave us a ton of information. And thanks for being a fearless adventurer and a writer with so many resources. Keep up the good work.
